About Us:
Colors 91711 specializes in yarn and supplies supporting knitting, crocheting and spinning. We hold specific classes for both beginners and other levels of uses in each of these hand crafts. We also sell spinning wheels and drop spindles. We specialize in natural yarns including fair trade yarn (Manos de Uruguay), eco yarn (EcoButterfly) and local yarn companies such Ring of Fiber, Blarney Yarn and Pagewood Farm Yarn. Several times a year we have yarn tastings, and twice a year clearance sales. During the Yarn Crawl:
We will be giving away personalized stitch markers.
Thursday (4/11) – morning refreshments
4-7pm: Johnny Vasquez (New Stitch a Day) meet and greet, view one of his videos on our TV
Friday (4/12) – morning refreshments
5-8pm: Ewe Ewe yarn tasting and wine reception to relax after crawling
Saturday (4/13) – morning refreshments
10am-12pm: spinning demo with angora bunnies in residence
1-4pm: The Fiber Co. yarn tasting and champagne reception
Sunday (4/14) – morning refreshments
Yarnover Truck will be on site
Laura from Slipped Stitch Studios and ice cream social from Bert and Rocky’s which is located on Yale just one block west of Harvard. Coupons will be given out for today at the beginning and throughout the crawl.
Small bottles of Colors 91711 water will be given out during the entire event.
