About Us:
Compatto specializes in natural fibers and independent dyers. Our strength is helping our customers have lovely knitted projects: from picking out a pattern, compatible yarn and working through the completion of a project. We are a knitting community that welcomes all from beginners to very experienced knitters. Friendly, helpful and positive is our mantra!

A trunk show from our good friends at Jade Sapphire! We love their hand dyed cashmere in 4- and 8-ply, and we can’t wait to show you their beautiful trunk show and patterns for the Crawl!

The long-anticipated FASTEST KNITTER Competition!
from 6pm-8pm, come in for wine and nibbles and compete for the title of LA County’s Fastest Knitter! Sponsored by Skacel and Debbie Bliss. The competition will be fierce but tons of fun! Please sign up ASAP to participate.

Westminster is the company that brings us our beloved Rowan Yarns, from Kidsilk Haze to Handknit Cotton. It’s going to be a fabulous show full of great
surprises!

We’ll be joined (for the second year in a row!) by Catherine of Pasadena’s own Red Barn Yarn. Her trunk show last year was a hit with shawl kits, new-to-us bases, and unique hand dyes, just for the Crawl. Come meet the woman behind Red Barn and see her amazing yarns!
Mel Clark will be premiering her new book! Come in from 2pm-5pm to meet Mel, preview her new book, Knitting Gifts for Baby and see for yourself why this local icon has become a tour-de-force in SoCal knitting!

We’re bring back our always-popular Yarn Tasting! Come in and try out all our new spring yarns, including Mimi Mink, Blue Sky Metallico, Jade Sapphire 4-Ply, Tundra, Debbie Bliss Pure Silk, and more! Enjoy a rare Sunday at Compatto! We have beautiful free patterns available for interesting projects on the new yarn.
